Alumni

The North Broward Preparatory School (NBPS) saw its first graduating class pass through its doors in 2001. In 2005 a program was created to harness the potential support of NBPS alumni. The Parent-Student-Teacher Association (PSTA) has created a standing committee, the Alumni Association. The committee’s basic responsibilities lie in locating and developing a dedicated database of alumni and communicating with those former students through websites, social networking, events, and publications. Alumni and their families are invited to be members. The fund raising strength of the PSTA may assist in forming a scholarship fund and “legacy” financial aide fund. Plans for the first 10 year reunion in 2011 are underway. Future milestones will also be commemorated. Homecoming events and use of Le Café for social networking, as well as updating internet resources, are in development.
