School Profile and History
In 1957, Dr. James Montgomery founded The North Broward School and Lighthouse Point Academy as a program committed to the total development of each student located in Lighthouse Point, Florida. In the summer of 2004, over forty years later, under the direction of President Philip E. Morgaman, Esq., NBPS relocated its Lighthouse Point campus to Coconut Creek. This new state of the art facility, which is located on The North Broward Preparatory Schools Upper School Campus offers endless opportunities to the students on its 70+ acre facility. On January 31, 2002, NBPS obtained its second lower school campus which was previously the Nova University School in Coral Springs and named it The North Broward School at Coral Springs. In 1998, The North Broward Preparatory Schools opened its upper school campus which contains a Middle and High School on Lyons Road in Coconut Creek.
